Ahmedabad: The state unit of the Congress party will organise a ‘Jan Aakrosh Sabha’ in Gandhinagar on Feb 16, the first day of the budget session of the Gujarat assembly. State Congress president Amit Chavda said on Thursday they will voice issues faced by youth, farmers, women, tribal communities, and traders of the state.Speaking to reporters at the GPCC headquarters, Chavda said that the party organised four phases of the Jan Aakrosh Yatra in Saurashtra, north Gujarat, and central Gujarat, and that the last leg in south Gujarat will end on Feb 13. “A number of issues concerning youth, farmers, women, small traders, street vendors, tribal communities, Dalits, and other communities were raised during these yatras. We will hold a protest meeting in Gandhinagar to highlight all these on Feb 16,” he said.
