Bokaro: The family of Sohan Mahto, a shift in-charge who died following a suspected toxic gas leak at Vedanta Group-owned ESL Steel plant, will receive Rs 60 lakh compensation and a job for one family member after a marathon 24-hour negotiation between the company management and representatives of the Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha (JLKM). JLKM workers said the agreement was finalised on Monday following prolonged talks.
