Kanpur: A 36-year-old man died after he was found unconscious following an alleged dispute with his wife in Gadariyan Purwa village under Kalyanpur police station limits late Tuesday.According to police, the deceased, Sushil Rajput, lived separately with his wife, Savitri Devi, and their children, Yuvraj and Prashant. On Tuesday night, he allegedly had a dispute with his wife, following which he went into a room.Later, his wife found him unconscious and raised an alarm.Neighbours rushed Sushil to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.Police reached the hospital, took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem examination. A forensic team also inspected the scene and collected evidence.Kalyanpur police station in-charge Keshav Kumar Tiwari said further action would be taken based on the findings of the investigation and the postmortem report. He added that police would also examine any written complaint submitted by the family.
