Nagpur: XSIO Industrial Parks on Sunday announced an additional FDI-backed investment of Rs2,500 crore to develop industrial parks across Maharashtra, with Nagpur serving as the central hub of its operations in the state.The investment was formalised through an MoU with state govt at the Invest Maharashtra summit, chaired by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis. The summit recorded 67 MoUs representing proposed investments of approximately Rs8.57 lakh crore and employment potential of over 2.91 lakh people across sectors.In Nagpur, XSIO’s existing footprint spans Park One and Park One North on the Samruddhi Expressway, Park Two at Linga on NH-53/Amravati Road, and Park Three at Additional Butibori MIDC. An in-city logistics park at Wardhaman Nagar is also part of its Nagpur portfolio.The additional investment will expand XSIO’s presence across Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Khalapur, Palghar and Mumbai, catering to precision and complex-process manufacturing, Build-to-Suit facilities, in-city logistics and modern warehousing. The programme is expected to generate approximately 3,000 direct and indirect jobs.Ashish Agrawal, managing director, XSIO Industrial Parks, said, “The additional Rs2,500 crore investment is the next chapter of XSIO’s growth in Maharashtra.
