Bengaluru: A city-based legislator was trolled online for abusing a man who reportedly questioned him for answering nature’s call in an open public place in the lane behind chief minister DK Shivakumar’s house in the upscale Sadashivnagar area on Thursday. However, no complaint has been lodged in connection with the incident, police said.The nearly 50-second video shows a man taking the legislator angrily to task and the MLA staring at him with some replies. A few police officials are seen intervening and pacifying the man.A senior police officer said the trouble unfolded when the legislator seen in the video was waiting for another MLA, who had gone to the CM’s house.“By then, the waiting legislator saw an open space and walked in to relieve himself. The man, walking past the same spot, objected the legislator for his act. To this, legislator is said to have abused the man. This made the man angry and he strongly opposed the legislator. Seeing his aggression, the legislator, who is already in trouble with few criminal cases against him, became quiet,” a senior police officer said.After police intervened and pacified, the man walked away. However, the video, recorded by someone else on mobile, went viral on social media.
