KRISHNAGIRI: Two female school teachers and a schoolboy died on the spot when a truck rammed a scooter they were travelling on near Egadathampalli in Krishnagiri district on Wednesday evening.The deceased have been identified Muskan Gaus Sheikh, 28, a Hindi teacher at a private school in Matheppalli, her son Furqan, 7, a Class 2 student at the same school, and Sudharani, 40, of Krishnagiri Pazhaiya Pettai, who was a social science teacher. The accident happened when they were returning home from school.“The truck rammed the two-wheeler from behind. The trio fell on the road and were crushed under the truck’s wheels,” said an officer at the Veppanapalli police station. The bodies were to the Krishnagiri Government Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.Police launched a search for the unidentified driver who fled the accident spot, leaving the truck behind.
