Prayagraj: BJP district president in Kaushambi, Dharmaraj Maurya, on Monday said the Samajwadi Party lacked a vision for the development of the state and accused its leadership of scripting a tale of looting and corruption even before securing power.Maurya was reacting to a viral video of SP national general secretary Indrajeet Saroj, in which Saroj was heard saying that if the SP formed the govt in 2027, no one would be able to stop him from becoming a minister.The Kaushambi BJP leadership targeted the SP leader after Saroj was also heard talking about digging up and selling sands. In the video, Saroj described himself as a companion of the party during its difficult times.The BJP alleged that the statement revealed the SP’s priorities for power and asserted that the party had no vision for the development of the state.The video was said to be from a booth-level SP workers’ conference held in the Sirathu assembly constituency last Thursday.
