MUMBAI: DCM Eknath Shinde left his iPhone behind on a London Mumbai flight early Friday, leading to a frantic search. The phone, however, was retrieved by police in an hour from the British Airways flight and returned to him.Shinde was on a two-day visit to London starting Sep 5, and received the Commonwealth Leadership award and the Statesmanship award in the UK Parliament. Shinde’s plane landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 2am. After reaching home at 3 am, Shinde noticed that his mobile phone was missing.The police in his security detail were immediately informed.
