Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) under the state education department on Monday announced the admission schedule for St Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. According to the schedule, registration, application editing, and preference changes will be allowed from Sept 16 to 20.Officials clarified that students who have already selected St Xavier’s College in their preference list need not make any changes during this period.The technical admission process and issuance of admission offers will be carried out on Sept 21 and 22. Candidates will then be required to accept and confirm their admission offers on Sept 23 and 24.Officials said the second admission round will begin on Sept 25.According to the notification, the current round is being conducted as a special admission process exclusively for students seeking admission to St Xavier‘s College, Ahmedabad. During this period, no other university or college will be permitted to offer admissions to students through the system.However, from the mop-up round scheduled to commence on Oct 3, all universities and colleges, including St Xavier’s College, will be able to fill their vacant seats through the admission process.
