Ranchi: The Jharkhand BJP unit will observe Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday with a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ from Sep 17 to Oct 17, state unit president and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu said on Friday.Addressing a news conference at the party office here, Sahu said the campaign would also mark Modi completing 25 years in public life on Oct 7.As part of the celebrations, BJP workers will light lamps seeking blessings for the PM at the doorsteps of households and temples across the state on Sept 17. Sahu said prayers would be offered for Modi’s long life and good health on his birthday. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha will also organise blood donation camps across the state on Sep 17.The party plans to organise a series of programmes throughout the month as part of the campaign.
