Patna: A World Bank team on Thursday inspected the site of a proposed multi-storey commercial complex near the A N College water tank under the Bihar Urban Transformation Programme.The project is among three commercial complexes proposed in the Patna Municipal Corporation area with the other two planned at Arya Kumar Road and Khetan Market. The projects are proposed with World Bank financial assistance.The team later met PMC municipal commissioner Yashpal Meena to discuss the design, land availability, construction possibilities, traffic management, parking and commercial utility.According to a PMC communique, the AN College complex will come up on around three acres of encroachment-free PMC land. It will have shops, retail spaces, a food court, offices and other commercial facilities, besides basement parking, lifts, escalators and fire safety systems.The project will also include rooftop solar power, rainwater harvesting, CCTV surveillance, access control, landscaping and accessible facilities.
