Lucknow: UP govt on Wednesday issued detailed guidelines for the conduct of Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) for teachers and special educators.Additional chief secretary, basic and secondary education, Parth Sarathi Sen Sharma said that primary teachers from Class 1 to 5 and upper primary teachers from Class 6 to 8, and special educators are eligible for the test.According to the programme released by UP Education Service Selection Commission, candidates can pay the application fee until Oct 4, while corrections in application forms will be allowed until Oct 8.Special TET examination is scheduled for Nov 3.Sharma clarified that teachers who have already qualified TET or CTET are not required to appear in Special TET again. Basic education officers have been instructed to disseminate information widely so that all eligible teachers can complete the application process within the stipulated timeline.
