Varanasi: At Azamgarh — the Samajwadi Party’s citadel — Bharatiya Janata Party state president Pankaj Chaudhary targeted SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav over the circulation of an alleged AI-generated insulting image of chief minister Yogi Adityanath, saying, “These acts of insulting seers expose his frustration.”After offering prayers at the Durvasa Rishi temple in Durvasa Dham and attending the fifth death anniversary ceremony of BJP state general secretary Sahajanand Rai’s father, late Adya Prasad Rai, Chaudhary took a dig at Akhilesh, saying people could not be misled through such politics.Regarding claims by the SP chief about the 2027 assembly polls, he said, “Akhilesh has now at least stepped out of the AC to start his preparations for the elections.”BJP workers remain among the people throughout the year to serve them, and their work at the booth level is complete, said Chaudhary, adding, “The BJP does not need separate election preparations. The party is always ready for elections.”Chaudhary, who also took part in a meeting of the mandal working committee and Shakti Kendra under the BJP’s mandal pravas programme at the Durvasa temple premises, urged party workers to further strengthen the organisation at the booth level.He claimed that the BJP’s lotus would bloom in Azamgarh in the 2027 assembly elections.
