Srinagar, August 28: Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, IAS, Director Sericulture J&K, has expressed his deep grief and heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Ghazanfar Ali, former senior bureaucrat, politician and Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC).
In his condolence message, Mr. Bhat described the deceased as a close colleague and friend, recalling him as a sober, humble and multidimensional personality who dedicated his entire life to public service.
“Ghazanfar Ali was not only a valued colleague and friend, but also a person of exceptional grace, wisdom and commitment. His long and distinguished association with public service reflected his deep sense of responsibility towards society. His demise is an irreparable loss to all those who knew and admired him,” Mr. Bhat said.
Mr. Bhat remembered his contributions to public administration and public life, saying that Ghazanfar Ali would be remembered for his sincerity, dedication and service to the people.
The Director Sericulture J&K conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength and fortitude to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
