Warangal: In a drunken condition, a Telangana Special Police (TGSP) 4th battalion constable, Manoj, slapped a 112 service on-duty constable Santosh Reddy on Wednesday night.The incident took place at the Ursu area in Warangal town. According to Mills Colony police inspector Swamy, when constable Manoj began creating a nuisance on the main road, the locals called 112 service for help. The 112 on-duty constable Santosh Reddy asked the drunken constable to wear his shirt, upon which Manoj slapped Santosh Reddy. In response, Santosh Reddy and two other locals used force on Manoj to restrain him, and later shifted him to the MGM hospital and informed his family members. On Saturday, Santosh Reddy lodged a complaint about the TGSP constable for manhandling and disturbing his work.Mills Colony police arrested the 4th battalion constable Manoj and produced him in the court.
