Ramban, Aug 22 : A 14 year old boy was injured after being attacked by a bear in the Asher area of Banihal in Ramban district on Saturday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the teenager was attacked by the wild animal in his residential area near Seeri, Ramban.
He said the boy was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where he is undergoing treatment. The boy was identified as Akram Ahmed Chohan (14), son of Nazir Ahmed Chohan, a resident of Seeri, Ramban.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and an investigation has begun.—(KNO)
