The constable is posted at Chakeri police station itself. DCP (East) Satyajit Gupta has suspended the constable.Gandhigram resident Gagan Chaurasiya has paan shops outside Chakeri police station and at Ramadevi Chauraha. According to Gagan, on Saturday afternoon, constable Vijay, posted at Chakeri police station, came to his shop and started demanding Rs 5,000. When he protested, the constable behaved indecently. In the video, the constable is also seen abusing the shopkeeper inside the police station.Taking cognizance of the viral video, DCP Satyajit Gupta has suspended Vijay. ACP (Chakeri) Ashutosh Kumar Singh said the matter is being investigated.
