Shivamogga: To cater to the influx of tourists and commuters visiting Jog Falls during the monsoon season, the Shivamogga division of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched a special weekend package bus service.The dedicated buses will operate every Saturday and Sunday. The journey begins from the Shivamogga main bus terminal at 8am and covers Siganduru, Varadamoola, Ikkeri and Keladi before reaching Jog Falls at 2pm. The bus will leave Jog Falls at 5pm and return to the Shivamogga bus stand by 7.30pm, officials said.Speaking to TOI, KSRTC divisional traffic officer (DTO) Dinesh Channagiri said, “Ticket prices for this all-inclusive package have been set at a budget-friendly rate of Rs 450 for adults and Rs 250 for children. Passengers can book on the official KSRTC website. The trip will commence from this weekend.”
