MUMBAI : In a significant step towards strengthening financial inclusion and long-term security for young girls, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the opening of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and NPS Vatsalya Scheme accounts for 1,000 girls under the special initiative, “Empowering Her Future: 1000 Betiyaan, 1000 Sapne, Ek Vishwas,” at Ghatkopar on Friday.The programme will be held at 12.30pm at the Auditorium, SPRJ Kanyashala Trust School, Kamalane, Ghatkopar (West), Mumbai.The initiative aims to promote financial literacy, encourage long-term savings, and build a secure future for girl children through two key government-backed schemes focused on wealth creation and pension security.Fadnavis will attend the event as the chief guest, while BJP MLA Prasad Lad will also be present on the occasion.The programme is being organised under the leadership of Gaurav Bhandari.
