Nagpur: A 20-year-old man was stabbed multiple times by two unidentified miscreants after he opposed their lewd taunting of his girlfriend near Manas Chowk in Sitabuldi, on Wednesday afternoon.The victim, Siddhant Singh, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, was walking towards the railway station with his girlfriend around 12.45pm on Wednesday when the two unidentified men, aged 20-25 years, passed vulgar comments.When Siddhant pushed them away to protect his girlfriend, one of the assailants attacked him with a cutter, inflicting injuries on his back and hand. The duo then fled from the spot.With the help of the police, the injured man was immediately rushed to Mayo Hospital for treatment. A case has been registered at Sitabirdi police station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Police have launched a search for the two attackers and are examining CCTV footage from the area.
