Guwahati: Two more bodies were recovered in Assam on Friday, taking the death toll in the state to 80, even as the number of affected people declined to 2.12 lakh with waters receding across the state.According to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), both bodies were recovered in Sivasagar, one of the districts worst affected by flash floods triggered by exceptionally heavy rainfall in the upstream catchments of Nagaland.The floods continue to affect 2,12,441 people in 437 villages across 21 revenue circles in eight districts — Golaghat, Sivasagar, Biswanath, Charaideo, Kamrup (Metro), Jorhat, Dhemaji and Nagaon.
