Kanpur: The body of an unidentified man, believed to be around 25 years old, was found on a railway track between New Bhaupur and New Bhimsen railway stations in the Sachendi police station area of Kanpur on Thursday afternoon.Police reached the spot after receiving information, took the body into custody and tried to establish the man’s identity.Station in-charge Yatendra Singh said locals were questioned about the identity of the deceased, but the man could not be identified.He said police were also trying to establish the man’s identity through social media and by matching missing-person reports from nearby police stations.Police said the body has been sent for postmortem and further legal action would be taken after identification.
