Srinagar, Jul 23: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday inaugurated ASCEND J&K 2026, the Startup Ecosystem Summit, at SKICC, Srinagar, and interacted with startup founders and student innovators.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister’s Office said Omar distributed seed-funding support, witnessed the signing of key MoUs and launched major initiatives aimed at strengthening the startup ecosystem across Jammu and Kashmir.
The office said the Chief Minister reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to fostering a vibrant culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, enabling young people to transform ideas into successful enterprises and contribute meaningfully to economic growth and employment generation.
