GURGAON: Gurgaon Traffic Police issued 68,330 challans against motorists for violating No-Entry regulations on the Dwarka Expressway and NH-48 between January 1 and July 21 as part of a special enforcement drive aimed at improving traffic flow and road safety.Police said the campaign focused on ensuring effective implementation of No-Entry rules on the two key arterial roads through intensive monitoring and enforcement.According to officials, the No-Entry regulations are intended to ensure that heavy and commercial vehicles operate only during prescribed hours and on designated routes.The restrictions are aimed at maintaining smooth traffic movement, preventing congestion and reducing the risk of road accidents.Police said violations of the No-Entry rules not only disrupt traffic but also pose a safety risk to other road users.Gurgaon Traffic Police urged motorists, particularly drivers of heavy and commercial vehicles, to comply with the prescribed No-Entry timings and designated routes on the Dwarka Expressway and NH-48 and to follow traffic regulations responsibly.Officials said the enforcement drive will continue, with strict action to be taken against motorists found violating No-Entry regulations in an effort to ensure safer and smoother traffic movement across the city.
