Prayagraj: A criminal, carrying a cash reward of Rs 25,000 identified as Muhiuddin (36), a resident of Ajeet Nagar was arrested by Pratapgarh police on Tuesday in connection with fraud in the name of buying and selling of lands.As many as 10 FIRs were lodged against him in different police stations of Pratapgarh including Kotwali and Raniganj where he was accused of cheating more than a dozen people including a doctor posted at Colvin Hospital in Prayagraj.A team of Raniganj police, acting upon a specific tip off, caught the criminal near Raniganj railway station road while planning to escape from town.
