Udaipur: One person was killed after a speeding car lost control and rammed the rear of a container moving ahead of it late Monday night near Dakan Kotda toll plaza in Udaipur. The collision was so powerful that the entire front portion of the car, including the bonnet up to the driver’s seat, went inside the container, trapping the driver inside the badly damaged vehicle. The driver died on the spot.On receiving information, ASI of Savina police station Lal Singh Rao reached the spot with the police force.The deceased was identified as Lokesh Dhabai, a resident of Kumharwada, who was going home. The police took the body out of the car and kept it in the MB Hospital mortuary. Station officer Gajveer Singh said, “The car was speeding due to which the driver could not control it in time and hit the container. The body was handed over to the family Tuesday after post-mortem.
