Hyderabad: Recalling the BJP’s political journey from winning just two Lok Sabha seats in the 1984 elections — including one from present-day Telangana — national president Nitin Nabin on Sunday said those asking “Where is the BJP?” should remember how the party rose from the margins to become India’s largest political force, asserting that it would similarly form the next govt in Telangana.Addressing party workers after inaugurating the BJP’s Ranga Reddy Rural district office and virtually opening nine district offices across the state, Nabin said the BJP’s growth had always been driven by committed grassroots workers and a strong organisational network.Declaring that the “Lotus will bloom in every village of Telangana”, Nabin asked party workers to strengthen the organisation at the booth level and expand the BJP’s reach to every household. He said the newly inaugurated district offices would not merely function as administrative buildings but as centres for organisational activity, cadre training and public outreach. The BJP chief virtually launched district offices in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Kamareddy, Siddipet, Medak, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool and Jogulamba Gadwal as part of the party’s organisational expansion in Telangana. Later, he addressed a meeting of booth-level presidents and is scheduled to interact with MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other senior leaders during his three-day visit to the state.Nabin was received at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport by Union ministers G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao and other senior party leaders.
