Pune: Two motorcycle-borne men fired four bullets in the air near a steel godown at Mantarwadi in Phursungi, off Pune-Saswad road around 9.40pm. No one was injured in the incident, said joint police commissioner Sanjay Darade. “We have formed different teams to track down the suspects involved in the firing incident,” Darade said.“The suspect opened fire in the air near a steel godown,” he said.A senior police officer said, “As of now, we do not know the reason behind the firing. However, we suspect that they wanted to terrorise the steel godown owner for some monetary gains.” The suspects sped away towards Saswad from the spot and the police are studying the CCTV footage of the area to identify the motorcycle and also the suspects.
