Nagpur: A 40-year-old man died after losing control of his motorcycle while trying to avoid hitting a pig that suddenly came onto the road near Waddhamna on Saturday evening.The deceased has been identified as Rupesh Mundle, a resident of the Anand Buddh Vihar area in Gondkhairi. As per police, Mundle was travelling towards Gondkhairi from 8th Mile along with his friend Yogesh Sonawane on a motorcycle. The incident occurred around 7.30 pm at Waddhamna, under the jurisdiction of Wadi Police Station. Police said a pig suddenly came in front of the motorcycle, following which Mundle attempted to swerve and avoid a collision. However, he lost control of the vehicle and fell on the road, sustaining serious injuries. Mundle was shifted to Mayo Hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at around 2.25am on Sunday. Wadi Police have registered a case of accidental death.
