Kanpur: Dam Strikers continued their dominance over Avi Foundation XI to clinch the VIth Rajratan Women Cricket League title at the BCA Ground on Friday. Opting to bat, Dam Strikers posted 165 for 8 in 35 overs. Nisha Verma played a fine knock of 57 runs, while Neha Verma made a contribution of 47 runs. In reply, Avi Foundation XI could score only 149 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their quota of overs, falling short by 16 runs. Trtipti Singh and Saumya Pal were adjudged best batter and bowler respectively. Saumya also walked away with best all-rounder trophy.
