Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice and Global Technology Industry Group with the addition of Jalpit Amin as a partner in Chicago.
“Jalpit has a strong track record advising leading technology companies, private equity sponsors and strategic investors on complex M&A matters,” said White & Case Co-Head of Global M&A Kimberly Petillo-Décossard. “The technology industry continues to drive transformational deal activity globally, and Jalpit’s strong relationships and experience will enhance our ability to support clients across this sector on transactions in Chicago, and across key markets worldwide.”
Jalpit advises corporates on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including carve-outs and other complex corporate transactions, with particular focus on the technology industry. His work also spans high-value, strategically significant transactions across the private capital, life sciences and healthcare sectors. Jalpit joins White & Case from Hogan Lovells, where he was a Corporate & Finance partner.
“I have long respected White & Case’s ability to execute cross-border M&A for sophisticated corporates and private capital clients,” said Jalpit Amin. “Joining the Chicago office also presents a compelling opportunity to expand our relationships with technology clients and to collaborate with colleagues across the Firm’s vast global platform on complex transactions.”
White & Case’s M&A Practice is continuing to build significant strength with more than 25 lateral partners joining globally over the past year. Recent US-based additions include partners Dario de Martino, Sašo Kraner, Andrea Basham, Jennifer Cheng, Paul Tiger, Airi Hammalov and Stephen Fraidin in New York; Gabriel Salinas, Josh Teahen, Ian Goldberg and Alex Miron in Houston; Susan Nieto in Washington, DC; and Nicole Daley in Boston.
