Why terrace events are resonating Ishita Paul, who attends terrace music nights in Kolkata, says “People are tired of very commercial nightlife spaces. Terrace events feel more curated, creative and relaxed.” To which, Aishwariya Sarkar, enterpreneur added: “Terrace events have a very Kolkata feeling to them. They remind me of childhood evenings spent on rooftops, except now they’ve become spaces for music, food and culture.”
