Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for a Vedic school and several development projects worth nearly ₹100 crore at the Yadagirigutta temple in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Saturday.Accompanied by ministers Konda Surekha and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and other leaders, Revanth first laid the foundation stone for a Veda Pathashala to be constructed at a cost of ₹43.80 crore.Later, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Lord’s Nitya Kalyana Mandapam atop the hill at an estimated cost of ₹9.87 crore.This was followed by the launch of multiple other projects, including a roof covering over the stairway from Vaikunta Dwaram to the hilltop at a cost of ₹1.41 crore, a ₹1.35 crore staircase leading to the Mada Veedhi near the Rathashala, and dormitory halls and accommodation facilities worth ₹43.12 crore for devotees undertaking Deeksha.The CM also offered prayers to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Yadagirigutta before returning to Hyderabad later in the day.
