Pune: Two men collectively lost Rs 53 lakh in separate online share trading frauds between June last year and May.Separate complaints have been registered with Kondhwa and Kalewadi police on Thursday.A Rahatani resident (58), who lodged a complaint with the Kalewadi police, stated that in Nov last year, the crooks contacted him and posed as employees of a share broking firm and assured him good profit on his investments through their firm. “The crooks lured the victim to transfer Rs 26.39 lakh between Nov last year and May 5 to different bank accounts,” an officer from the Kalewadi police said.Similarly, a 26-year-old private company employee from Kondhwa lost Rs 26.72 lakh to the cybercrooks in an online share-trading fraud between June last year and April. The crooks promised him good returns on his investments and took money from him to several bank accounts. The man on Thursday lodged a complaint with the Kondhwa police.
