Kavitha has been touring the state over the past few months to build support for her new venture. Launching the party, she targeted both the ruling Congress and the BRS, including her father KCR.
Calling him “soulless”, she said there is a vacuum in the opposition space in Telangana as the BRS has failed to address people’s issues.
Kavitha also criticised the Congress government, accusing Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of ignoring public concerns, carrying out demolition drives, and referring to the death of a Dalit youth in the state.
She accused the BJP of diluting social justice and said the party had opposed the formation of Telangana.
After launching the party, she outlined her ‘Panchajanya’ vision, centred on five focus areas – education, healthcare, power, farmers and youth.
