Lucknow: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Lucknow Regional Office, resolved 83 of the 93 grievances received during its ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ outreach programme held across six districts of Uttar Pradesh on Monday.The camps were organised in Lucknow, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Barabanki, Hardoi and Rae Bareli, drawing participation from 165 stakeholders.During the programme, EPFO officials informed participants about recent changes aimed at expanding social security coverage.Employees earning more than Rs 15,000 per month, who earlier remained outside pension and insurance benefits, will now come under the EPFO framework.Stakeholders were also briefed about the new EPF scheme, Vishwas Yojana, Employees’ Enrolment Scheme and PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana.At the programme in Barabanki, regional provident fund commissioner and officer in-charge Ashwini Kumar Gupta interacted with employers and explained the objectives of the outreach initiative.Meanwhile, regional provident fund commissioner II Ashish Kumar highlighted EPFO’s digital initiatives, stating that after the launch of CITES 2.0, around 82% of claims at the Lucknow Regional Office were settled through the automated system in July 2026.Officials also urged employers to register all contractors on the principal employer portal to improve compliance.
