Darbhanga: Five people were seriously injured in an LPG cylinder blast at a market in Usma Math village under the Pator police station area of Darbhanga district on Wednesday evening.According to reports, a woman was frying ‘pakodas’ when the LPG cylinder suddenly exploded. The injured were rushed to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) and later referred to Patna for better treatment, said DMCH superintendent Dr Jagdish Chandra.The weekly market (haat) is organised every Wednesday at Usma Math village and draws a large number of buyers and sellers.
