Budgam, Jul 28: The 43 Bn of CRPF on celebrated the Raising Day of the Country’s premier internal security Force at its headquarters, at DPL Badgam.
The day commenced with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony by officers and men, paying rich tributes to the brave hearts who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
Following the wreath ceremony Vikrant Sarangpani, Commandant took the salute at the Quarter Guard. While addressing the troops Commanding Officer highlighted the historic significance of the CRPF Raising Day, tracing the journey of the force from its inception as the Crown Representative’ Police on July 27 1939, to its vital role today as the backbone of India’s Internal Security.
The day reminds us of the glorious heritage of courage, loyalty and selfless service to the nation. He lauded the 43 Battalion for its operational achievements and unwavering commitment performing in the line of duty. He urged all personnel to continue discharging their duties with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
