A 4-year-old child actor, Avyaan Sapra from Delhi, is receiving praise for his performance in the new Dettol advertisement. The little boy who moved many with his performance in the emotional moments learnt acting from Shah Rukh Khan, say his parents. They even started a petition to have the little one meet the star.
4-year-old learns acting from Shah Rukh Khan
A recently released Dettol advert shows a little boy falling down in the melee during a wedding. Even as he assures other elders in the house that he’s okay, he waddles to his mother to nurse his wound. He only sheds tears near his mother when she cleans his wound, but tells her that he’s alright, so she doesn’t cry.
Many were moved by Avyaan’s performance in the heartwarming ad. Even actors like Ridhima Pandit wrote, “Very good,” while Karishma Tanna commented, “So so good. I had tears in my eyes.” In a Reel, his parents revealed his inspiration, writing, “All the love for his performance,. But the real credit? A little boy, big dreams… and a lot of Shah Rukh Khan.” The video shows Avyaan hooked as he watches Shah Rukh’s 2004 film Veer Zaara. The text on it reads, “Everyone asking how he nailed those emotional scenes…Well learning from the best – SRK school of acting.”
Petitions to meet Shah Rukh Khan
In another Reel that contains playful moments, the caption reads, “Internet, do your magic. Tag SRK in every comment till it reaches him,” adding, “This is not just a reel… it’s a petition. Let’s make this reach SRK.” In the video, Avyaan says, “I am a huge fan of you. Meet me. Get on an aeroplane and come here, we’ll talk.”
Numerous fans tagged Shah Rukh in the Reel’s comments. One person wrote, “Definitely your cutest fan @iamsrk you just can’t ignore this little cutie, you’ve to watch this.” Another wrote, “@iamsrk you have to watch this, just wants some seconds from your busy schedule sir please.” Many also tagged his manager, Pooja Dadlani; production house Red Chillies Entertainment; his wife, Gauri Khan; and his children, Suhana and Aryan Khan.

Shah Rukh last starred in the 2023 films Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, and appeared in a cameo in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. He is now shooting for Siddharth Anand’s King with his daughter Suhana. Numerous actors, including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, and others, star in it.
