Vadodara: Within 17 hours of the murder of a woman in Navapura area, another killing shook the outskirts of Vadodara on Saturday evening. A 36-year-old man was stabbed to death inside a hair-cutting salon in a residential-cum-commercial complex, Shrinath Ornate Townsville, in Sundarpura area.The victim, Mitesh Valand (36), was alone at the shop when the accused, identified as Kiran, who runs a grocery shop nearby, barged inside and attacked him with a sharp weapon.Police suspect the accused may have used a razor or scissors available in the salon. At the time of the incident, Valand’s co-worker had stepped out to another shop in the same complex to buy a cold drink.Valand was rushed to SSG Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The Kapurai police initiated the process of registering an offence and launched a search for the accused. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
