HARYANA: Three coaches of a goods train derailed at Kurukshetra railway station on Monday while the train was heading to Pehowa Road, disrupting the railway power supply system in the area, according to news agency ANI.Railway officials said the train was not carrying passengers and was travelling from Kurukshetra to Pehowa Road for a scheduled loading operation.Speaking about the incident, Railway Official Ramniwas said, “Loading was scheduled at Pehowa Road; this wasn’t a passenger train; it was a goods train. It was heading from Kurukshetra to Pehowa Road. We are still examining the damage that has happened.”Authorities are assessing the extent of the damage, and efforts are underway to restore normal operations.
