In the meantime, a big band of officials from central ministries reached the city on Monday evening.Following several rounds of meetings with the officers of the departments and agencies concerned to know the progress in all ongoing projects, the team members started a series of site inspections from the ropeway project sites and its stations. Later, they also moved around the circulating area and platforms of Varanasi Junction.Divisional Commissioner S Rajalingam, District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar, and all senior officials escorted the team.
