Board of School Education, Haryana, wil conduct the test

Bhiwani: Haryana will conduct its Teacher Screening Test 2026 on Friday for 21,096 candidates at 69 centres across Ambala, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Karnal and Rohtak. The 90-minute test will be held from 2pm to 3.30pm for deployment of teachers and heads in Govt Model Sanskriti, PM Shri and CMEEE schools.The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has issued guidelines for a fair and transparent examination. The test will be conducted in OMR-based pen-and-paper mode, with all questions carrying one mark and no negative marking.CCTV cameras at examination centres will remain operational, with footage and recordings to be preserved. Police arrangements have also been made for security.As a conflict-of-interest measure, examination staff whose children or other blood relatives are appearing at the same centre will not be assigned duty there. Centre superintendents, supervisors and other staff have been directed to maintain confidentiality and follow examination protocols.Serving govt teachers appearing for the test on Aug 22 will be treated as “on duty” for the day. District education officers and school heads have been directed to facilitate their participation.Candidates with disabilities who require scribes must produce a disability certificate showing at least 40% disability and obtain permission from the centre superintendent a day before the exam. Eligible candidates will get 30 minutes of additional time, irrespective of whether they use a scribe. The scribe must not have a qualification higher than senior secondary.
