Dumka: Deoghar police claimed to have solved the case of recovery of a decapitated body of a 35-year-old man from Thadhi village on Monday, by arresting three, including two women.Deoghar SP Saurabh said that the victim, identified as Dilip Kumar Turi, was the driver of a car owned by Babita Singh alias Payal Devi, hailing from Baidyanathpur.“Babita got to know that Dilip used to share details of her activities with others. In a bid to get rid of him, she hatched a conspiracy with her acquaintances, Payal Rout and Sanjiv Kumar of Karnibag locality,” the SP stated.As per the plan, the accused lured Dilip to a secluded spot and slit his throat and decapitated him to conceal his identity and dumped the corpse near Thadhi.“An SIT led by SDPO Ashok Kumar Singh was formed to investigate the case. Relying on technical and human intelligence, police cracked the case and apprehended all three accused,” the SP said.
