Prayagraj: Two kids aged about 8 and 12 years were feared drowned at Dulhapur ghat, Sangipur area under the limits of Udaypur police station of Pratapgarh district on Monday. Two joint teams of police and swimmers were roped in to trace missing kids. The kids were identified as Ayushi (12) and her younger brother Ram Singh (8), residents of Darra village (Udaypur). Police said that a group of five kids went to enjoy swimming into the canal. When Ram Singh entered into deep water zone, her elder sister rushed to save him and drowned. The other three kids, came out from the canal, and informed the villagers. Upon being alerted, local police along with swimmers rushed the spot and carried out rescue operation.
