Jaipur: Police arrested two men for allegedly robbing Rs 1.26 lakh from a loan collection agent in Daulatpura on Oct 3.DCP (Jaipur West) Prashant Kiran said the complainant Nathuram Bagdi was collecting instalments for a women’s joint liability group loan scheme run by NABFINS Ltd, a NABARD subsidiary. After collecting Rs 1.26 lakh from Kherashyamdas, Bagdi was riding towards Badanpura for another collection meeting when two men on a motorcycle intercepted him and snatched a bag kept on his motorcycle’s fuel tank. The men had covered their faces with handkerchiefs and fled despite Bagdi chasing them.The accused were identified as Manish Kumawat alias Ganu, alias Chaila (18) and Sagar Saini alias Anu, alias Shyala (20), both residents of Dungri Ki Dhani in Badanpura. Police are questioning them about the recovery of the money and the motorcycle allegedly used in the robbery, as well as their possible involvement in other cases and the role of any associates.
