Kolkata, May 26 (IANS) Two Trinamool Congress leaders have been arrested in two separate districts of West Bengal on charges of corruption, the police said on Tuesday.

Hazaribag: Acting on a tip-off, Padma police have arrested two drug peddlers from the Chameli Jharna road area on Wednesday and recovered 15 grams of brown sugar and a mobile phone from them. The arrested accused have been identified as Sandeep Kumar Mehta (24), a resident of Jihu village under Padma police station and Subhash Kumar Ram (23), a resident of Barwa village under Ichak police station. During interrogation, the accused revealed that they used to procure brown sugar from one Rishi Kumar Mehta, a resident of Surajpura (Suji) in Padma block, it said in a statement.
