YAMUNANAGAR: The crime investigation agency (CIA)-II of Yamunanagar police arrested two accused after encounter on Pabni-Mandhar village road in Yamunanagar district on Thursday, in connection with September 3 Model Town murder of city-based financier Harbhajan Singh outside a gym.The arrested accused have been identified as Rakesh and Aryan of Kurukshetra district, who are accused of providing arms to the shooters who shot dead Harbhajan.Both Rakesh and Aryan were riding a motorcycle when they got engaged in an encounter with police.They received bullet injuries in their legs during exchange of fire with the CIA-II unit and they were subsequently apprehended by the police.Yamunanagar police sources confirmed the encounter and said that two accused Kishan and Vishal of Kurukshetra district, were arrested earlier in this case for installing GPS in Harbhajan’s car to track his location.As per the information, gangster Shubham Pandit and Rohit Godara had reportedly taken responsibility for Harbhajan’s murder in a social media post from an Instagram account.The Yamunanagar police are yet to officially reveal any developments related to the investigation into this case and verification of the claim made by the alleged gangsters through social media.The social media post was made soon after murder which reads, “Jai Bajrang Bali Ram-Ram to all brothers. The murder of Harbhajan Singh that took place today in Yamunanagar, I Shubham Pandit and Rohit Godara group takes its responsibility.”“He was becoming close to our enemy (former) MLA Dilbagh Singh, for which he received the punishment. Whoever is close to Dilbagh Singh, should be ready, their number will also come. We have all those in our list,” the post said,The post further read, “Whoever even drinks water with them, will be our enemy. Kala rana group, gogi maan group, Arvind gili rana, Virender Charan, kartik pandit Australia, Monu Gujjar Indri, RIP Romil Vohra, RIP Bheem Yamunanagar, RIP Rajat Ladwa.”
