The Future Foundation School proudly presented its Sixth Food Fiesta, aptly themed ‘Festival of India’

KOLKATA: The Future Foundation School celebrated India’s vibrant culinary heritage on Friday through its Sixth Food Fiesta, themed “Festival of India,” featuring students from Classes 9 to 12.A key highlight was an inter-school non-fire cooking competition that drew over 150 participants from across Kolkata. Hosted by the school’s Hospitality Management Department in partnership with the Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management, the competition featured renowned chef, author, and Master Chef India judge Chef Kunal Kapur as the guest judge.Centered around the theme of “Unity in Diversity,” the food displays and presentations showcased regional culinary traditions.The initiative aligns with the school’s curriculum, which now offers Hospitality Management at the ICSE and ISC levels to provide practical training and career exposure.“The Sixth Food Fiesta reaffirmed our commitment to delivering holistic, industry-oriented education by combining academic learning with practical experience, leadership, and community engagement,” said a school official.Chef Kapur appreciated the creativity, passion, and dedication displayed by the young participants and encouraged them to continue exploring the limitless opportunities in the hospitality industry.The fiesta concluded with an award ceremony honoring student talent, creativity, and teamwork.
