Nagpur: Around 14 suspects are being grilled in connection with the midnight firing at Congress corporator Shubham Motghare’s house. Several offences are registered against him. Gaurav, too, has a criminal record. The two families have been at loggerheads since an earlier dispute involving Motghare’s father. Another altercation involving one of the Urkude brothers and a member of Motghare’s family further escalated tensions.Motghare had also accused the Urkude brothers of damaging his vehicle. The matter reached the police station, where officers reprimanded the duo. However, Motghare later chose not to lodge a formal complaint.Although the Urkude brothers have been rounded up for questioning, officers maintain that no conclusive evidence has emerged so far.
